🌿 About Me

Hola! , I’m Gen — the heart and hands behind Gen Body & Soul.

This journey began in a place of frustration, confusion, and disconnection. For years, I tried to fit into a beauty standard that just wasn’t made for me — using products full of chemicals that irritated my sensitive skin and made me feel sick. I struggled with acne, insecurity, and the belief that something was wrong with me because nothing seemed to work. I didn’t feel beautiful. I didn’t feel seen. I was going through life on autopilot, chasing results that never came.

Everything shifted when I stopped looking outward and turned inward.

There, I found a love so deep it brought me home — not just to myself, but to something much greater. In nature, I found acceptance. In sunlight, peace. In the presence of plants and water, I felt whole. Nature never judged me or asked me to be anything other than present. It gently reminded me that everything I was looking for was already within me. I just needed to return.And in that return, I also reconnected with my roots.

Being away from my homeland — the Dominican Republic🇩🇴 — gave me a new perspective. I began to see the beauty in the simplicity of life, the richness in tradition, and the power of remembering where I come from. This journey has brought me back to my heritage, to the rhythms of the earth, to the ancestral wisdom that lives in my blood.

Now, I not only find love and healing in nature — I find it in myself, in my culture, in the stories passed down through generations. It also reminded me that healing often looks like remembering — who you are, where you come from, and who walks with you.

Gen Body & Soul was born from this healing. Every product I create is a reflection of that journey. 

My work is an offering: to the Earth, to Spirit, to the ones who came before me.

Every candle, oil, and ritual I make is created with love, intention, and deep spiritual connection.This is more than body care. It’s soul care. Ancestral, elemental, and divine.
